CCP (Certified Cost Professional) is a certification granted by the Association for Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) to individuals who possess fundamental knowledge and expertise in cost and project controls.
For over thirty years, certifications offered by the Association for Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) have been a mark of distinction, and more and more employers demand these certifications as an employment requirement. CCP is the most widely recognized certificate offered by AACE and covers the majority of topics related to project controls. It demonstrates you have met the highest professional standard available in the industry. Obtaining CCP certification also results in greater recognition from peers and improves career and salary opportunities.
The focus of this workshop is to prepare attendees for the CCP exam by reviewing subjects covered on the exam and working through various sample questions. In addition, participants will learn about the process of writing a technical paper, which is a prerequisite to sit the exam: selecting a topic, structuring a paper, and referencing sources. Individuals who want to obtain a general knowledge about project controls can also benefit from the workshop.
